Kawagoe Castle (Kawagoe-jō) is a historic Japanese castle located in Kawagoe, Saitama. Originally built in 1457 during the Muromachi period, it played a significant role in the defense of the Kanto region and had close ties with the Tokugawa shogunate during the Edo period. While much of the castle was lost over time, parts of it, including the Honmaru Goten (the main hall), have been preserved and are open to the public.
