The Meguro River is a popular urban river in Tokyo, Japan, known especially for its stunning cherry blossoms in spring. It flows for about 8 kilometers (5 miles), passing through several Tokyo wards including Setagaya, Meguro, and Shinagawa, before emptying into Tokyo Bay. One of Tokyo’s top spots for sakura viewing, especially during late March to early April. Around 800 cherry trees line both sides of the river, creating a tunnel of blossoms.
